World Air Management  WAM Fleet Expansion

World Air Management is expanding its fleet with a Tristar L1011-1 Freighter as of Mid May 2005. The aircraft can uplift 52 tons of cargo, equipped with a purpose built freighter door. This aircraft is available immediately for charters world-wide.

The B747-200 Freighters exclusively marketed by World Air Management are all former British Airways or Lufthansa aircraft. Built in the late 1980's, the first two Boeing 747-200 Rolls Royce powered Freighters started life as combi-aircraft that were converted to full freighters in 2001 by Boeing/HAECO. Both fitted with the Original Boeing Cargo Door, these aircraft are all powered by Rolls Royce RB211-524D4, some of the highest powered and fuel efficient engines.
